Roadmap
What we’re building.
Floe is early: 0.1.0 is its first release. This is the plan as it stands, not a promise, and the order can change. What Floe does not do yet lists the gaps as they are today.
Up next 5
What comes next, in this order.
Documentation
- A guide for extension authors. How to run a local extension in Floe, what works and what does not.
Extensions
- Floe’s own sign-in service. Extensions sign in through Raycast’s service today, which is temporary. Floe’s own takes its place.
- More of the extension API. The grid layout,
launchCommandand deeplinks.
Search
- Search the front app’s menus. Built on the menu scanner in CMD-Z and shared with Thaw.
Across your Macs
- Settings sync switched on. Releases signed for iCloud, then the same sync in Thaw.
Later 3
These come after the list above. None has a date.
Extensions
- An
@floe/apipackage. A small one, for what Raycast’s API cannot express.
Search
- Search your notes.
Built in
- Calculator history.
Not planned 1
Not on the plan unless people ask for it.
Windows
- Window management. There are many window managers already, and Floe can work with them.
