New
- A checkpoint can clear your desk. Type
pauseand a name, press ⌘K, and choose Save and Hide Apps or Save and Quit Apps. Resuming brings those apps back along with the checkpoint's files and tabs, without opening a tab twice. Pressing Return saves files and tabs alone, as before. An app you quit decides for itself which windows it reopens.
Changed
definelists matching words and shows the whole entry. It lists the words that start with what you type, and Return shows the entry in Floe instead of opening the Dictionary app, which moved to ⌘K. In Settings, under Commands, you can change the worddefineto one of your own (#57).- The Actions menu shows the keys that run its rows. In the search, ⌘Return on an app, file or folder now shows it in Finder, and ⌘⇧C copies its path, as in Search Files (#64).
Fixed
- Return with a key held reaches a shell command in the search. ⌘Return runs it in your terminal, ⌥Return shows the whole output, and ⇧Return runs it in Finder's folder (#63).
Contributors
- @dotvhs asked for a better dictionary (#57).
- @MintCollector added the keys in the Actions menu and fixed Return on shell commands (#63, #64).
