Floe's Settings now share their controls and pages with Thaw through ThawUI, so the two apps look and behave more alike.
New
- File search finds what's in iCloud Drive, and shows it under that name. With Fast file search on, macOS may ask once for access to iCloud Drive (#59).
Changed
- A slider sets the search field's corners, from square to fully round, in place of the three shapes. The shape you had stays as it was, and an older Floe syncing from another Mac keeps working.
- More text follows your Mac's text size, in the calculator, files, clipboard, Ask AI, Markdown and extension views. Some corners in these views and the note editor's toolbar icons change by a point or two to match the rest of the app.
- The toolbar names each Settings page, in place of the large title at the top, as in Thaw. Each group of search results has a heading like the sidebar's.
- About sits in the middle of its page, and its menu leaves out any link a build doesn't have.
- A keyboard shortcut macOS already uses keeps the recording going, so you can type another one straight away.
- The sidebar scrolls to the current page when Settings opens, and with Differentiate Without Color on, the selected row gets a ring.
- Numbered steps in the release notes keep their numbers.
Fixed
- What's New shows the latest releases. It was reading an older copy of the changelog that stopped at 0.1.0.
- A link in the release notes opens only if it is https, and a page that isn't the changelog, such as a Wi-Fi sign-in page, no longer replaces the saved notes.
- A saved keyboard shortcut with an impossible key is dropped when settings load, so registering it can't cause a crash.
