• Thaw says when macOS is blocking its icon. A warning under "Show Thaw icon" points you to System Settings > Menu Bar. Reported by @promonteiro89 in #1232. Fixed by @diazdesandi in #1223.
• Thaw warns when apps it hid are still hidden after a launch where it couldn't show them again. The warning in General opens Tools, where you can restore them. Fixed by @diazdesandi in #1223.
• Items show in the menu bar again with the Thaw Bar turned off. The bar could show only the section markers. Reported by @daschles in #1228. Fixed by @diazdesandi in #1223.
• Menu bar search keeps the keyboard after a search with no matches, and when you open it again. Reported by Jam and krossen6 on Discord. Fixed by @diazdesandi in #1223.

• Layout previews follow each item's current position. Fixed by @diazdesandi in #1223.

• Moves work while another app is slow to respond. One busy app, such as Google Drive in the middle of a sync, used to block every move. Fixed by @camguillory in #1233.
• Reordering in Layout works with the Thaw icon hidden. Drops used to save the order without moving anything. Fixed by @camguillory in #1234.
• Dragging one Stats item moves only that item. After updating, you may need to place your Stats items once more. Fixed by @camguillory in #1235.
• A second display no longer scrambles your saved order. Items used to jump to the end of the menu bar after a reveal. Fixed by @camguillory in #1241.
• Some items no longer take seconds to move. Thaw drags them right away. Fixed by @camguillory in #1251.

• A new or temporary icon no longer scrambles your order. When an item arrives, Thaw keeps the order you saved. Reported by HiroMike on Discord. Fixed by @diazdesandi in #1223.
• Layout works in Manual arrangement. You can drag, sort and use the keyboard there to move items between sections. Reported by HiroMike on Discord. Fixed by @diazdesandi in #1223.

• Stats icons show up where they used to be blank or out of date. Fixed by @camguillory in #1236.
• Items that report an oversized icon appear in Thaw. You can now show, hide and move them. Fixed by @camguillory in #1240.
• Layout keeps real icons while you work in another app. They used to turn into app icons after 30 seconds. Fixed by @camguillory in #1246.
• Icons next to a hidden Thaw icon keep their real look. Fixed by @camguillory in #1247 and #1252.
• Icons with their own background keep it, such as Krisp's white square. Fixed by @camguillory in #1264.

• Icons load sooner in Layout with several displays. They could take about 19 seconds and show app icons in the meantime. Fixed by @camguillory in #1248.
• Thaw recognizes the menu bar's overflow arrow in every language. On non-English systems Thaw could save it as an app's icon, and opening the Thaw Bar made icons blink. Fixed by @camguillory in #1257.
• Clicks in empty menu bar space work on a full notched bar. Right-clicking opens Thaw's menu there, and click, hover and scroll show your items. Fixed by @camguillory in #1258.
• The Thaw Bar shows real icons when the menu bar is full, where it used to show an app icon for every item. Fixed by @camguillory in #1259.
• A Thaw Bar opened at the pointer stays put. It used to jump across the screen when you moved the mouse over an item. Fixed by @camguillory in #1249.

• Menus opened from the Thaw Bar appear at their icon. They could open at the top-left corner of the screen. Reported by @steermomo in #1225 and confirmed by @daschles. Fixed by @diazdesandi.
• System Settings no longer opens behind the Screen Recording prompt. Thaw waits for your answer first. Fixed by @camguillory in #1243.

• A new option in Settings > General keeps Live Activities and the camera and microphone indicators on the menu bar while apps are hidden, and stops hidden items from flashing when Notification Center opens.
• It's in beta and off by default. Thaw offers it once at launch and asks for access to one file.
• The camera and microphone indicator stays in Visible. It could land among hidden items and stay out of sight.
• An app Control Center doesn't know stays on the bar instead of switching the option back to the usual hiding, which hid the indicators again.

• Open hidden items in the menu bar, in Settings > Thaw Bar, shows a hidden item in the menu bar and opens its menu under the icon, from the Thaw Bar, search or a shortcut. Off, the menu opens without the icon, as before.
• An app that ignores the click still opens without its icon.

• New: Replace Input Menu, with your keyboard layouts.

• Update channels. Choose Beta or Nightly in About Thaw, from the ⋯ menu in Settings.
• An update's notes open in What's New before you install.

• Fewer settings. Anything you changed still applies.
• Tidier pages, buttons and sidebar: one shorter list, a subtitle under each pane title, and Swap, Zen Mode and About in the toolbar's menu.

• The Thaw Bar captures only missing pictures when it opens, instead of revealing the whole section.

• "Broadcast Message … NSAccessibilityException" in every Terminal window. An older app whose menu bar item uses AppKit's legacy status-item API throws when Thaw reads the item, and macOS broadcasts the error to all terminals. To find the app, run log show --last 10m --style compact --predicate 'eventMessage CONTAINS "NSAccessibilityException"' while it happens; the process name in each line is the app. Quitting or updating that app stops the messages. #1214
